‘Our house in Laren is a classic Wouter Hamdorff design and municipal monument, but the interior was very dated. It was out of balance and illogical, which resulted in the loss of a lot of space. We wanted an interior built to the standards of the time without disturbing the exterior.
Comfort through understated interior advice
Interior architect Rob Hol created a design which made optimal use of the space by paring back the interior. The inside of the home was stripped from top to bottom and got a completely new layout based on our wishes. That improved the traffic flow tremendously. The house is now finally comfortable and has only become more charming.’
